Welcome to my I Dig Peru website.  What is an I Dig Peru website?  It is about the Mauldin United Methodist Church Peru Mission team and the organization that we work with, Scripture Union of Peru.  On the 2005 trip we were digging trenches for footings and as the local foreman came around every time and said "poco más" or little more, someone quipped "I Dig Peru"  and it has since become like a mantra for our mission team.  I wish I remembered who originally said it so I could give them credit for it, but it has been the best phrase yet for our mission team.

To learn more about the story of how our church got started in working with Scripture Union of Peru, about their operations and most importantly about the street boys we love so much because they have captured our hearts each and every year please click on the "Our Story" link.

Information about Peru and the current weather is located under the "Peru" link and we hope to add more about traveling to the country there in the future.  The rest are hopefully self explanatory about their links.  We do have information about making donations under the "contact" link.
